Hitting your garage door with your golf cart, even at a crawl, disabled our garage door. Living in a small community like Salado I felt lucky because we have a local garage door repairman. Unfortunately being close to Christmas they must have had other plans because after taking my call, they dropped me like a hot potato. I did a quick search 2 days later and found Precision. While I was reading about them, I saw a "Schedule an Appointment" button to click and they had an appointment available THAT DAY. I clicked it and soon received a call from the office confirming and about 30 minutes later, John Gallerano called and said he had a cancellation and could come EVEN EARLIER. Score! I told John what had happened and once he started, it was about 20 minutes later and voila, garage door fixed. John was kind, personable, understanding and a good listener. I would not hesitate at all in referring you to them.

Our garage door would not raise. I called Precision and was greeted by an extremely kind and knowledgeable employee. After explaining my problem she said a repair man would be at our house the next day- not a week later! John drove from Waco and was at our House in Belton before 8:00. Very friendly and knowledgeable. It took him less than 10 minutes to correct the problem. I know and our friends know who to call for garage door opener repairs. John also took the time to inspect all of our openers.

I would give Precision Garage Door Service of Waco a minus 5 stars if possible. Yesterday John and Asa came to our house. We wanted to see if one of the garage door openers could be repaired. I was having issues with any of the remote openers working. They came in and immediately told us that the circuit board was bad in the one having problems. They also recommended for us to replace both garage door openers, when only one was having issues. They never checked the motor or tried to reprogram it. They also told us that we really need to replace the rollers, the spring, the center bearing, and the torsion cable, plus the motor. Our estimates ranged from a Linear opener for $547.15 to $1,715.43 for a Liftmaster opener with all the above being replaced. We told them we would discuss the estimates and get back with them. We called Overhead Door Company of Waco to get a second estimate. The technician first tried to reprogram the remotes before giving us an estimate for a new opener. He was successful with this. He also inspected the rollers, spring, and cables, and told us nothing needed to be replaced. While he was here, since we were going to pay for a service call anyway, he did routine maintenance on both doors. This was at a cost of $110.00. The doors are working perfectly now! My advice is to BEWARE of Precision Garage Door Service of Waco.

Although other companies may differ in their approach, we prefer to offer long-term solutions rather than a temporary fix that could potentially result in bigger issues in the future. The long term solution of replacing your garage door operator which has a motor that is 20 years old was offered for this reason. We are always looking for better ways to improve our level of service and expertise and your input helps us to achieve that. We appreciate you having contacted us for service and if you should have any other issues with your garage door, it is our hope that you may consider giving us the opportunity once again to earn your trust and business in the future. 

My husband and I went to Home Depot to order a garage door with their 15% off special. Unfortunately, they have no installers contracted out to install any garage doors. This was an inconvenience for us. So, I saw Precision Doors online and on television. As soon as I filled out my information; I got a text message within two minutes. They had a professional team John and Asa came out and gave us a thorough run-down of the company, materials, and services they provided. Once installed we'll give them our final review.

I had a very odd experience. I received a very odd text about the technician that was on his way to my house. It was a very uncomfortable situation all the way around. I made it very clear that I did not/could not get a new garage door. I needed mine to be repaired, if nothing else, shut. He stepped into my garage, didn’t look around and started trying to sell me a new door. I explained that I would not be doing that and he went on and on about the financing. I asked him if I could just pay him to shut it. He said that he wouldn’t charge me for shutting it and it would be no problem. After going to his car to “get quotes”, he told me it would be $500 to shut it and then went on to 3 other options for me to get a new door. Kept telling me that he wished he could help. Odd, creepy feeling with all of it. He hardly looked at my door and did not help in any way.

We concur with the technician's determination of the door being damaged. The $500 option that was provided to you was to get your garage door back to working order again and it includes the new parts that would be needed for the repair work to be done. A new garage door option was also provided at that same time. We are sorry to hear that this was not a productive experience for you and that we were unable to offer a solution that would meet to your satisfaction.

John was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and the pride/joy he took in doing his job was contagious. I feel like I made a friend too. I would highly recommend him and this company to anyone needing help with their garage doors.
